Training is one of the most important things you can do for your dog. A well trained dog is able to spend more time with its owners and go more places. Because every dog is different, our trainers work with you to find out how to motivate your dog best. We teach you how to incorporate training into your everyday life and how to keep it fun for you and your dog.

Family Dog 2

Take your new skills to the next level. Our Family Dog 2 class teaches you to train your dog to have more reliable manners and obedience. The class will continue to challenge your dog's existing skills with increasing levels of distractions. Many students who complete this course are ready to test for their AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate.

You will learn when and how to phase out treats during training and how to use games and drive building exercises to motivate your dog. Skills covered include heeling, walking through crowds, longer maintains, coming when called around distractions, teaching your dog to remain calmly by your side while you interact with other handlers.

Prerequisite Family Dog 1 or instructor permission. Register for this class.
